Information we receive
Depending on the action you take, iPerf360 may receive your name, email, organization, country, intended use, test environment, support description, contact preference, application version, operating system, device label or identifier, device public key, license status, software-notice acceptance, and an optional diagnostic ZIP you explicitly select.
How information is used
Information is used to register devices, issue and manage device-bound iPerf360 entitlements, process entitlement transfers, provide support, investigate reliability or security concerns, administer releases, and maintain operational audit records.
Diagnostic bundles
A diagnostic bundle is uploaded only after you select it. The application is designed to exclude private keys, full license contents, passwords, tokens, reports, and administrator credentials. Review the ZIP before submitting it.
Technical records and Preview security telemetry
When the Desktop Console communicates with the activation service for Preview authorization, activation, entitlement management, transfer, update eligibility, or other security-sensitive operations, the service may record the public source IP address, request time, device identifier, application version, and event result. Source IP addresses are used for security, Preview-abuse prevention, entitlement security, troubleshooting, and aggregate product analytics. Raw source IP addresses are retained for up to 90 days and are then deleted or anonymized.
Where reliably available from network information, iPerf360 may derive approximate country and region/state from the source IP. iPerf360 does not use this telemetry to collect precise location, latitude/longitude, or city-level location. Aggregated or anonymized country and region/state statistics may be retained to understand worldwide product interest and usage. An IP address is treated as a security signal and is not, by itself, used as proof of abuse or as the device identity.
The public website does not use advertising analytics.
Sharing
Information may be processed by infrastructure, email, or support providers used to operate iPerf360. It is not sold. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or respond enforceable requests.
Retention and requests
Records are retained as reasonably necessary to operate and secure iPerf360, maintain entitlement and audit history, and resolve support matters. To ask about your information or request correction or deletion where applicable, email support@iperf360.com.
Security and service status
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. This notice may be updated as the iPerf360 service and its supporting services evolve.
